PsiU
PsiU is a platform for scheduling therapy sessions, connecting volunteer psychologists with low-income youth in Brazil, promoting greater access to mental health care.

Getting started
A first run in three screens: a promise, a short sign-up, and a home that always points to the next step.
- 01
Welcome
The mascot and one promise: take care of your mental health, daily and free. Two clear actions, sign up or log in.
- 02
Sign up
One short form, with social sign-in as a shortcut. The terms and the privacy policy sit right under the button.
- 03
Home
While a therapist is being matched, the home shows that status, the mental diary, recommended videos and the help center.
Booking a session
The core of the platform: patients say when they are free, and the sessions they get land in a calendar they can read at a glance.
- 04
Availability
Patients mark the days and times they are free, so the platform can match them with a volunteer psychologist. If nothing fits, they can ask to be fitted in.
- 05
Agenda
A month view marks session days, the selected day and today, and shows the mood logged on each day.
The session
From the match to the video call, the whole conversation stays inside the app.
- 06
Conversations
Two tabs, Chats and Calls, and a search. The platform assistant and the psychologist share one list.
- 07
The PsiU! assistant
The mascot announces the match, asks for a yes or no, and reminds the patient shortly before the session starts.
- 08
Therapist chat
The psychologist’s profile, the conversation and a Join call button, together in one place.
- 09
Video call
Full-screen video with the patient’s own view and controls. Shortcuts open the diary, the chat, a call tutorial or a problem report.
The mental diary
A daily check-in: a tap for the mood, a tap for the cause, a few words for the rest.
- 10
Diary home
Today’s date, a prompt to register, the week in moods at a glance and a link to the full evolution.
- 11
Mood
Nine mood cards in a grid. One tap chooses, and a progress bar shows how short the flow is.
- 12
Cause
Then what led to it: study, myself, family, self-esteem, relationships, friends, work or health. More than one can be picked.
- 13
In your words
An open field for what happened that day, with the option to skip.
Look and feel
Pastel green and purple for calm and comfort. Rounded Poppins for a young, friendly voice, wave illustrations for tranquility, and a brain mascot to keep the tone light. Texts stay short and the language plain, so the app is easy to use for low-income young people.
